E Week India 2012 Winners
As the sixth edition of the Entrepreneurship Week India wound down in the auditorium of Dayananda College to rapturous cheers and cries, it seemed as if the whole world had joined in the celebration of entrepreneurship. The linking of hearts and minds to the invention of an inclusive, sensitive and sustainable future accelerated faster than ever! Thank you for making E Week 2012 a success. It was made possible only because of your passion in the belief that the ‘largest entrepreneurial opportunities lie in the toughest challenges’.
The E Week India awards are highly competitive and coveted. Institutes across India took up the gauntlet with great enthusiasm and conducted events such as hackathons, rallies, unclassrooms, workshops and more to promote entrepreneurship. The ‘Invent the future’ theme inspired many to devise innovate and low-cost solutions to issues that ranged from tsunami warning systems to live wire detectors. Many institutes launched campus companies to retail low-cost products or to enable direct access to markets for rural entrepreneurs. After an intense auditing process, institutes who met the judging criteria were selected.
Award winners are those who have transcended all reasonable expectations, and even hopes. They are the institutes who are leading the charge in forging a stronger, entrepreneurial India. They set the standards not only for the nation, but for the world. Our heartfelt admiration and congratulations to you and all the members of the winning institutes.
