Making Innovative Ideas Work in the Real World

E Week 2016 in Indira Institute of Management, Pune was inaugurated by the Chairman, Director and E-Cell Head Coordinators Prof Dipanjay Bhalerao and Prof Santosh Pullewar on 22 February 2016. In their inaugural address, both the Chairman and Director spoke about the importance of starting up and encouraged aspiring student entrepreneurs on campus to build on innovative ideas.
 
Workshop on Business Plan
The celebration kick started with a Business Plan Workshop to identify potential student entrepreneurs and innovative ideas.
The activity was focused on students with good ideas but without access to showcase their ideas or reach out to mentors who can help them. Such students were given the opportunity to pitch their ideas. The ones with the best ideas later presented to a panel of experts.
While pitching their ideas, the student innovators also spoke about specific issues and challenges. The mentors gave their feedback, and will continue working with such students to improve their business plans.
 
Sharing Industry Experience
Alumni entrepreneurs were invited on day three to talk about their experiences of starting up as a student. They also spoke about the challenges faced and ways to get over them.
 
The week-long E Week celebrations is slated to be chockful of workshops, guest lectures, panel discussions, E Quiz etc aimed to help students work on their ideas, and take them to market.
